Free Roof Inspection in Wadsworth, Ohio
Free, about 45 minutes to an hour, and you keep the photo report whether or not you ever hire us.

Why It Has to Be Done From the Roof
The two things most likely to be wrong with a Wadsworth roof cannot be seen from the ground.
Hail bruising has to be felt. It leaves no visible break in the surface, and it frequently does not show in photographs at all — the assessment is made by pressing the spot and feeling the mat give.
Broken wind seals have to be tested by hand. A shingle that lifted and settled back looks identical to one that never moved. The only way to know is to lift it and feel whether it resists or comes away freely.
Any inspection that does not involve someone physically on your roof has skipped both.
What We Check
- Field shingles — granule loss, cracking, curling, brittleness, hail bruising
- Nailing — lifted shingles checked for high nails and backed-out fasteners
- Flashing at every wall, chimney and penetration
- Valleys — where most water crosses and most leaks begin
- Pipe boots — the rubber collars that crack a decade before the roof does
- Ridge and hip — cap condition and whether the ridge vent is actually working
- Gutters, fascia and soffit — including granule accumulation and dented soft metals
- Attic where accessible — daylight, moisture staining, insulation depth, and whether intake vents are blocked

The Attic Half Matters More Here Than Elsewhere
In northeast Ohio, skipping the attic means missing the cause of most winter leaks.
Blocked soffit vents are extremely common — insulation pushed over them during a top-up, or baffles never installed. Without intake, a ridge vent pulls conditioned air out of the house instead of pulling outside air through the roof space. The deck stays warm, snow melts from underneath, and you get an ice dam every winter regardless of how new the shingles are.
Water tracks on the underside of the deck also show where leaks are getting in long before the ceiling below stains. Ten minutes in the attic regularly changes the entire recommendation.
When Wadsworth Homeowners Should Book One
After any significant hail or high wind event, even with nothing visible from the ground — especially then, because of the claim deadline.
Before buying a house here. A roof at end of life is one of the largest single negotiating items in a purchase, and northeast Ohio roofs reach that point earlier than buyers relocating from elsewhere expect.
Once the roof passes about fifteen years, so a replacement can be planned in a good-weather window rather than reacted to in February.
And any time you see a ceiling stain, granules collecting in the gutters, or shingle pieces in the yard.
What You Get
A written report with photographs of anything we found, an assessment of remaining service life, and a plain recommendation — repair, replace, monitor, or nothing needed.
If the roof is fine, the report says so. If there is storm damage, we tell you whether it is likely to meet your carrier’s threshold before you file, because a denied claim goes on your record either way.
