Gutter Services in Dublin & Wadsworth, Ohio

GAF Master Elite · Licensed & Insured · 400+ Five-Star Reviews

Gutters are the least glamorous part of a house and one of the most consequential. Every drop of rain that lands on your roof ends up in them, and where that water goes next determines whether your foundation stays dry.

Overview

Why Seamless

Sectional gutters join every ten feet with a seam, and seams are where gutters leak. Not immediately — but expansion and contraction through Ohio’s temperature swings works those joints loose over a few years, and then you have water running down the fascia behind the gutter.

Seamless gutters are roll-formed on site from a single coil to the exact length of your roofline. The only joints are at corners and downspout outlets. Fewer joints, fewer failures.

The Damage Bad Gutters Actually Cause

A failing gutter does not just overflow. Water running behind it soaks the fascia board, and fascia rot spreads to the roof deck edge and the soffit. Water dumping at the foundation finds its way into basements and, over enough freeze-thaw cycles, into foundation cracks.

The repair bill for the gutter is small. The repair bill for what a neglected gutter caused is not. This is the argument for cleaning them, and it is a better argument than aesthetics.

Everything We Do With Gutters

  • Installation — new gutters, correctly sized and pitched
  • Seamless gutters — roll-formed on site in your colour
  • Repair — sagging, leaking seams, re-pitching, hanger replacement
  • Cleaning — spring and autumn, full flush and downspout check
  • Guards — an honest assessment of which ones work
  • Downspouts and drainage — moving water away from the foundation

Sizing and Pitch

Five-inch K-style is standard and adequate for most Ohio homes. Six-inch handles roughly forty percent more water and makes sense on large roof planes, steep pitches that accelerate runoff, or homes that have historically overflowed in heavy rain.

Pitch matters as much as size. Gutters need a slight, consistent fall toward the downspouts — too little and water sits and breeds mosquitoes, too much and it looks wrong and overshoots at the outlet. Hanger spacing matters too: hangers too far apart sag under the weight of a full gutter, and once a gutter sags it never drains right again.

Questions

Common Questions

Twice a year is the general rule — late spring after the seeds drop and late autumn after the leaves finish. Homes under heavy tree cover, particularly oak and maple, often need a third visit.

No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling. Good guards dramatically reduce cleaning frequency and stop the clogs that cause overflow. They still need periodic checking, especially at the outlets.

If wind or hail caused it, yes. Hail dents aluminium gutters visibly and wind pulls them loose. Gutters are commonly included in storm claims alongside roof damage.

Yes. Seamless aluminium comes in a wide colour range and we form it on site, so matching your fascia or trim is straightforward.
